RESERVING CASH
Your bank balance stays the same.
Goal allocations reserve part of the cash already held in a bank account. MoniTrak tracks how much has been reserved and how much remains available for other Goals.
A Goal allocation is an internal reservation in MoniTrak, not a bank transfer.
FUNDING A GOAL
One Goal can use more than one bank account.
If one eligible bank does not have enough Available for Goals to cover the amount you want to reserve, you can continue allocating from another eligible bank.
PLANNING AHEAD
Contributions help you plan the path to your target.
A Goal can show a recommended next contribution based on its planning details. The recommendation helps you decide how much to reserve next.
A contribution recommendation does not schedule or perform a bank transfer.
GOAL LIFECYCLE
Track the Goal from planning to history.
Active, archived and historical views keep the current Goal separate from completed or earlier cycles.
CONNECTED INFORMATION
Goals use the cash already visible in MoniTrak.
Eligible bank accounts provide the cash capacity used to calculate what can still be reserved for Goals.
