BEFORE YOU START

Start with an existing Goal.

Goal management becomes available after a Goal has been created. Its progress depends on the cash currently reserved toward it.

✓

Open the Financial Goals workspace.

✓

Choose the active Goal you want to manage.

✓

Review its target, reserved amount, remaining amount and planning details.

STEP BY STEP

Let's get it set up.

01

Open the Goal you want to manage

Select an active Goal to review its current progress and planning details. The Goal shows how much has been reserved toward the target and how much is still remaining.

Reserved represents the cash currently committed to this Goal inside MoniTrak.

02

Edit the Goal when the plan changes

Update the Goal's planning details when your target or timing changes. Review the new values before saving so the Goal continues to reflect what you want to achieve.

Changing the Goal plan does not automatically move additional money from a bank account. Allocation remains a separate action.

03

Understand the updated progress

If you change the target while keeping the same reserved amount, the Goal's percentage and remaining amount update to reflect the new plan.

RESERVEDAED 10,000Unchanged
NEW TARGETAED 14,000Updated plan
REMAININGAED 4,000Still needed
UPDATED PROGRESS71.4%
◎

The reserved cash has not changed here. Only the Goal target changed, so MoniTrak recalculates the remaining amount and progress.

04

Complete or archive the Goal

When the Goal has reached the end of its active cycle, use the Goal management options to complete or archive it as appropriate. Review the Goal details before confirming the change.

□
Archive Goal

Move the Goal out of your active Goals while keeping its record available for review.

◎

Review the confirmation shown by MoniTrak before completing or archiving a Goal, especially when the Goal still has reserved allocations.

05

Find Goals that are no longer active

Goals that are no longer part of your active planning can be reviewed separately, helping keep the active workspace focused on Goals you are currently working toward.

Archiving keeps the Goal record available without leaving it among the Goals you are actively managing.

06

Review previous Goal cycles in History

Use History to look back at previous Goal activity and understand how a Goal developed over time. This keeps earlier cycles separate from the Goal you are currently managing.

History is useful for reviewing earlier Goal cycles without mixing them with the current active Goal.

GOAL LIFECYCLE

Keep the current plan clear while preserving what happened before.

Active Goals stay focused on your current plan. Completed or archived Goals remain available so you can review previous Goal activity separately.
