STEP BY STEP
Start with a category that you want to understand in more detail. The amount and percentage show its contribution to the selected report.
Opening a category shows the recorded transactions that contributed to its total for the selected month and account or card scope.
Each row identifies when the activity happened, its description, the account or card associated with it and the amount included in the category.
SELECTED TRANSACTION
The report provides the summary. The underlying transaction provides the financial context behind it.
The category total represents the combined value of the transactions included in that category for the selected report.
If a transaction appears in an unexpected category, review the underlying transaction rather than adjusting the report total itself.
FROM SUMMARY TO SOURCE
Category details give you a bridge between the summarized report and the individual transactions that created the category total.
Reports help you understand transactions already recorded in MoniTrak. They do not create a separate copy of those transactions.
