ACCOUNTS
Keep your active account list relevant when an account is closed, replaced or no longer belongs in your current financial picture.
3 min readBEFORE YOU START
Before removing an account from your active workspace, consider whether you still need its historical information or simply no longer want it included in your current financial picture.
Confirm that you selected the correct account
Review the account's current balance
Consider whether historical information should remain available
Understand how removing it may affect your financial totals
STEP BY STEP
Go to Accounts and select the account you no longer want included as an active account in your workspace.
Open the account options to review the actions available for that account.
If MoniTrak provides both options, archiving can keep an inactive account available for historical context while removing it from active views. Removing an account is intended for information you no longer want retained as an active account.
The exact archive and removal behavior should match the controls available in your MoniTrak workspace. Review the confirmation message before continuing.
Before confirming, review how the account will be treated and whether its balance will stop contributing to your active available-cash view.
This account currently contributes AED 20,000 to the available cash shown in this example.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
If an account stops contributing to your active account totals, the available cash shown in MoniTrak can change as a result.
AED 20,000 is no longer included in active available cash in this example.
